Descrição: Maxima™ H Minus First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit is a complete system for highly efficient synthesis of first strand cDNA. The kit uses the Maxima™ H Minus Reverse Transcriptase (RT), which is an advanced enzyme derived by<i> in vitro</i> evolution of M-MuLV RT. The enzyme features the highest thermostability among the derivatives of M-MuLV RT and lacks RNase H activity. The Maxima™ H Minus First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit allows synthesis of long cDNAs up to 20 kb at elevated temperatures (up to 65 °C), superseding other systems' abilities to produce full-length cDNA. Due to increased synthesis rates the reaction can be completed in 30 minutes.

Descrição: The Maxima™ SYBR® Green qPCR Master Mix (2X) is a ready to use solution optimised for quantitative real time PCR and two-step real time RT-PCR on most real time PCR machines. The master mix includes Maxima™ hot start <i>Taq</i> DNA polymerase, SYBR® Green dye I and dNTPs in an optimised PCR buffer. ROX solution is provided in a separate vial for use with machines that require ROX as a passive reference dye. Maxima™ hot start <i>Taq</i> DNA polymerase in combination with the optimised buffer ensures PCR specificity and sensitivity. The SYBR® Green I intercalating dye allows for DNA detection and analysis without using sequence specific probes. dUTP is included in the mix for optional carryover contamination control using uracil-DNA glycosylase (UDG). The use of Maxima™ SYBR® Green qPCR Master Mix (2X) in real time PCR ensures reproducible, sensitive and specific quantification of genomic, plasmid, viral and cDNA templates.

Descrição: <i>Taq</i> DNA Polymerase is a highly thermostable DNA polymerase from the thermophilic bacterium <i>Thermus aquaticus</i>. The enzyme catalyses 5'→3' synthesis of DNA, has no detectable 3'→5' exonuclease (proofreading) activity and possesses low 5'→3' exonuclease activity. In addition, <i>Taq</i> DNA polymerase exhibits deoxynucleotidyl transferase activity, which frequently results in the addition of extra adenines at the 3'-end of PCR products. Native <i>Taq</i> DNA polymerase is preferred for amplification of bacterial DNA sequences homologous to those found in <i>E.coli</i>. Native<i> Taq</i> DNA polymerase stabilised with BSA is often the best choice when amplifying DNA samples of lower purity, e.g. genomic DNA from mouse tail.

Descrição: GeneJET™ Plant Genomic DNA Purification Mini Kit is designed for rapid and efficient purification of high quality genomic DNA from a wide variety of plant species and tissue types. It utilises silica-based membrane technology in the form of a convenient spin column, eliminating the need for expensive resins, toxic phenol-chloroform extractions, or time-consuming alcohol precipitation. The standard procedure takes less than 30 minutes following cell lysis and yields purified DNA greater than 30 kb in size. DNA yields vary between different species and tissues depending on genome size, ploidy, cell number, and the age of the tissue sample. The typical yield from a standard tissue source (for example, young wheat leaves) is 30 to 32 μg from 100 mg of tissue. Isolated DNA can be used directly in PCR, qPCR, Southern blotting, and enzymatic reactions.
