Descrição: Positively charged rhodamine dyes (such as rhodamine esters and rosamines) are selectively localized in mitochondria, thus they are widely used for labeling mitochondria of live cells. Like JC-1,TMRE is widely used for measuring mitochondrial membrane potential, in addition to selectively staining mitochondria. Real-time imaging of mitochondrial membrane potential in individual cardiomyocytes within perfused rat hearts has been demonstrated with this dye, using 2-photon laser-scanning microscopy.

Descrição: RG-13022 is a non-phenolic tyrphostin analog, which inhibits the EGF receptor (IC50=5 µM) and PDGF receptor tyrosine kinases, and is long-acting. It inhibits EGF-stimulated HER14 cell proliferation (IC50=1 µM) as well as tumor growth in vivo. It inhibits both EGF- and PDGF-stimulated DNA synthesis in human glioma cell lines. RG-13022 is non-phenolic and therefore possesses less antioxidant activity than other tyrphostins.
